Case Study: BlazeMaster® CPVC Quickly Retrofits Residence Halls

After retrofitting one residence hall with steel pipe, project leaders at Wake Forest realized the work could not get done over the summer while students were away. Contractor Worsham Sprinkler recommended switching to BlazeMaster® CPVC to speed up the project.

Installation began immediately after the students vacated the residence halls. The entire retrofit, including installation of sprinklers and smoke detectors as well as painting and cleanup, took just eight weeks during summer recess, and students were able to return on time when classes began for the fall term.
