Lockdown Learning is Far from Over

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic taking a toll on society worldwide in 2020 and certainly now, in the early stages of 2021, travel restrictions are now in force. This has undoubtedly affected every industry on the planet, in one way or another. However, it doesn’t mean the industry cannot take steps to improve.

While we are encouraged to stay at home as much as possible, we invite you now as we did then, to take the time to prepare for a better, more progressive future in fire safety and construction as a whole.

Our RIBA accredited CPD is your 50 minute introduction to BlazeMaster CPVC. The fire protection system that is strong, flexible for designers and fast and safe for installers. The reason for its proven effectiveness around the world is the CPVC itself, a highly chlorinated polymer that allows for better heat, flame and smoke resistance and long term resistance to corrosion.

Why is now the time to study BlazeMaster CPVC? Here are five reasons why.

Now is the time

Whether our profession has its roots in offices, factories, warehouses or outdoors on building sites, we are all at the time of writing, encouraged to stay home as much as possible, as the Covid 19 virus is still present in society.

We greatly encourage cooperation with government guidelines, which is why we regularly share educational resources and training, to allow fire safety professionals to make the most of moments of downtime.

Fire Safety is Being Taken More Seriously

The November 2020 legislation is now in effect. In the UK, all new high-rise blocks over 11 metres tall will be legally required to fit fire sprinkler systems throughout. The limit has been decreased from 30 metres, meaning thousands of new residences will be affected, and are now expected to be fitted with fire sprinklers in a timely manner.

This is something that BlazeMaster Fire Protection Systems takes seriously. Prepare for the changes this new legislation is going to have in your area.

Light at the End of the Tunnel?

There’s no definite way we can determine when restrictions will all finally be lifted. However, it’s a guarantee that they will end and progress is being made to get all industries back on track.

Prepare to hear from building owners with a new, refreshed emphasis on protecting their homes and livelihoods.

It’s Going to Get Busy

When restrictions are finally lifted, there’s going to be a lot to do. While the word from the government has been clear on construction and manufacturing continuing on as much as possible, there’s no denying that it's going to be much easier to get around when all restrictions have been lifted and the Covid 19 threat to public health is finally over.

At the moment, for many businesses it's about keeping workloads healthy. Soon it's going to be about keeping workloads manageable, as demand for installation increases.

Conclusion

Now that you’ve considered our RIBA qualification for 5 minutes, think about the next 50. We invite you to register for access to your free RIBA accredited seminar, Mastering CPVC Fire Sprinkler Systems with BlazeMaster.
