The Fontainebleau Hilton Resort in Miami, Florida, made history by installing the first commercial CPVC fire sprinkler system from BlazeMaster Fire Protection Systems. Designed with a 36-story structure housing 460 units, the project marked a significant shift from traditional metallic systems due to ongoing issues with corrosion, particularly prevalent near the humid coastal environment.

The decision to specify BlazeMaster CPVC was not only based on its resilience against corrosion but also on its easier installation process. It is preferred for light hazard projects across South Florida due to its reliability and favorable economics, when compared to steel systems.
