You’ll also learn just how fast and easy pipes and fittings are to install, where installation has successfully taken place and what you need to do to start making the most of it. **CPVC vs Steel**   CPVC is the most specified non-metallic fire sprinkler material in the world. Its resistance to fire protects the flow of water on the inside of the pipe, allowing for long term performance at high pressures, even with thinner pipe and fittings. In fact, CPVC pipe and fitting compounds have achieved classification of Bs1d0 - the highest rating a plastic material can achieve.   **Do What Others Can’t: Installing CPVC**   You may be very used to installing steel pipe using a variety of heat and cutting tools. However, CPVC eliminates the need for hot works or even a power supply, as the pipe and fittings bond using solvent cement.
