Chubon Hired as Field Consultant for CPVC Piping Systems

CLEVELAND, OH, (September 10, 2007) – Lubrizol Advanced Materials, a subsidiary of The Lubrizol Corporation (NYSE:LZ), announces the addition of Ryan Chubon to the position of south region field piping systems consultant.  In this position Chubon will be responsible for creating awareness and developing demand for FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster® and Corzan® piping systems in North Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.

In his new role, he will train contactors and engineers in the proper design and installation of the company’s piping systems, participate in local trade shows, gain local code approval and develop and implement territory plans, among other duties.

With more than 10 years experience in sales, Chubon brings a strong background in wholesale distribution, including his prior work with Corzan Piping Systems.  Most recently, he was an outside sales representative for Ferguson Enterprises in Ocala, Florida.  While there, he managed new accounts and increased sales of existing accounts.  He directed the inside sales force and oversaw a $7 million budget.  Chubon also received a prestigious President’s Circle Award for the 2004 Fiscal Year for excellence in sales and leadership.

Chubon received his bachelor’s degree in business health from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla.
